Seminars: Which One's Worth It?

by: Richard Gober

Personal growth training seminars, self-improvement seminars or other enrichment seminars offered in nearly every city around the world on a daily basis give advice on how to make money.

Is there a science to getting rich? Well, that all depends on who you talk to. Many millionaires around the world follow theories and secrets to attaining wealth and personal enrichment without even realizing it. The short answer is: it's possible.

The "Science of Getting Rich" (SGR) and "Law of Attraction" (LOA) concepts have been around since the early 1900s, and have gained huge popularity within the past few years. Several entrepreneurs have taken advantage of the science and turned the methods described in the popular book on the subject, and turned them in seminars.

These seminars offer an explanation of the Law of Attraction, which is the idea that if you can dream it, it can happen. If you want financial wealth and stability, you can have it. It just takes the power of positive thinking, self-awareness and encouragement.

One such seminar offers attendees a 180-page workbook that explains what the Law of Attraction personal growth program is all about, and follows guidelines introduced by Wallace Wattles in his book, "The Science of Getting Rich" published way back in 1910.

Of course, self-improvement or personal enrichment seminars out there don't lack for applicants. Catch phrases like, "Learn how to change your future" and "How to attract the perfect partner" lure millions of people to seminars every year. People seem to be constantly seeking, better, faster and happier on a daily basis.

Believe it or not, there are even seminars on how to run successful seminars out there, so you have to be on your toes and know exactly what you're looking for before you plunk down your hard-earned money to learn Self-Mind Control Power or "Tools for Success" that are offered by just about every Tom, Dick and Harry wanting to make a quick buck.

Some seminars don't apply only to career and material wealth, but suggest the power of positive thinking every day to improve relationships with family, colleagues and friends. For many of these personal growth seminars, it's more about changing a point of view than buying a product.

The philosophy behind the Law of Attraction and the Science of Getting Rich is spreading across the globe. Generally regarded as experts in their field, Jack Canfield and Bob Proctor have lectured from Australia to the United States, Canada and Asia. So does Silva Seminars, which offer personal growth training from New York City to Germany every year. And Ariel and Shya Kane, though they tend to focus on relationships between couples and families, have made sidelines into the business world.

The power of positive thinking and optimism can't be bought, and these things lie within each individual. Everyone has the ability to access positive thoughts and feelings, but many people don't know how to do so or just haven't thought about it.

The same goes for the Law of Attraction, the Science of Getting Rich, the Silva Seminars and dozens of others. So many people have found that it makes a difference in their lives when they shift their perspective or change their attitude that they've written an abundance of information about it. Simply type what you want to achieve in an Internet search engine bar and you can find out how to change your life using the power of positive thinking.
